ONE TEAM FOR BUGS & ANIMALS
Pest Control Done the Right Way
Most pest control companies ‘treat’ your home by spraying a perimeter and moving on. We don’t. Freedom Wildlife Solutions & Pest Control was built on a different idea: that pest work and wildlife work belong in the same hands — because the same gaps that let mice in let ants in, and the same homeowner deserves the same expert on the phone either way.
That’s why we run it like a bug doctor, not a spray route — diagnosing the actual pressures on your home, rotating the right chemistry for the season, and sealing the entry points most companies never look at. And when a pest problem turns out to be a wildlife problem, the same crew handles it under the same roof and the same warranty. From rural Harnett County to downtown Raleigh, we bring that one-team approach across our 9-county NC service area — every problem solved by one company, one standard, one guarantee.
WHY FREEDOM
Why Choose Freedom Wildlife Solutions & Pest Control
North Carolina homeowners have plenty of pest control options. Here’s what makes Freedom different — and why families call us when a bait-box-and-spray approach hasn’t worked.
A Pest Control Company That Specializes in Wildlife
That order matters. Most pest companies do wildlife as a side service; we came up the other way, and our pest work is sharper for it.
Veteran-Owned Since 2018
Built by a veteran on standards that don't flex.
Bug-Doctor Approach
Rotating chemistry, perimeter-first, interior only when needed — the right treatment for the season and the pressure, not the same spray everywhere.
Licensed, Insured & Industry Members
Licensed and insured, and members of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) — we hold to their standards, not just state minimums.
500+ Five-Star Reviews
Real customers, real homes, real outcomes across 9 NC counties.
Free Re-Services on Covered Pests
If covered pests come back between visits, we come back free — plus a workmanship warranty on exclusion work.
It’s a different way to run pest control — diagnose it, seal it, stand behind it. That’s the standard on every visit.
REVIEWS
What Central NC Customers Say
Matthew arrived promptly and secured all entry points around the exterior of our house where rodents, snakes and destructive bugs try to get inside. He explained what he was taking care of and shared photos. Here in Raleigh we have lots of pests that need to live outdoors instead of sneaking inside. Joseph, per our agreed schedule, arrived promptly to take care of our exterior pest control. Extremely knowledgeable — very professional, very appreciated.
Wendy M., Raleigh NC
Experience matters! Joseph and Josh keep pests away and are professionals in their field.

WHY IT MATTERS
Why North Carolina Homes Need Pest Control
Central and eastern North Carolina is one of the highest-pressure pest environments in the country. Warm, humid summers, mild winters that no longer knock populations back, and a constant overlap of farmland, neighborhoods, and wildlife keep pests active twelve months a year. The ‘spray once and forget it’ model doesn’t match how pests actually move through a NC year — recurring protection does.
Ag corridors across Johnston, Harnett, Wayne, Wilson, Nash, and Lee counties sustain year-round rodent and insect baselines, and river systems — the Neuse, Tar, Cape Fear, Eno, Jordan and Falls lakes — push mosquitoes, spiders, and crickets into nearby neighborhoods every spring through fall.
Spring
Ant and termite swarm season; overwintered pests wake up and move.
Summer
Mosquito and stinging-insect peak (wasps, hornets, yellow jackets).
Fall
Rodent push-in: rats and mice move indoors as it cools and fields are harvested.
Winter
Overwintering pests: cluster flies, stink bugs, ladybugs, and spiders sheltering inside.
OUR PROCESS
Our Pest Control Process
We believe in smart, targeted pest control — not spray-and-pray. Every home is different, so we act like a bug doctor: diagnose the issue, then apply the right solution for your home, the season, and the active pressures.
1. Pest & Wildlife Inspection
Before any treatment, we inspect the exterior and interior as needed. The same walk often catches early wildlife issues conventional pest companies miss — chewed soffits, open vents, attic activity, crawlspace access.
2. Custom Chemical Selection & Rotation
We don't use the same product at every home or every visit. We rotate professional-grade products through the year and match them to the pressures we find — the right medicine for the symptoms, which also prevents pest resistance.
3. Perimeter-Focused Protection
Our primary defense is a strong barrier around the home that stops pests before they get in, which minimizes interior treatments and keeps your living space healthier.
4. Interior Only When Necessary — De-Webbing & Granular
If interior issues are found, we treat only the affected areas — never more than needed. We de-web around the structure and use granular applications for long-term perimeter coverage. If we find a wildlife issue pest products can't solve, we hand it straight to our wildlife removal arm — same company, same warranty.
5. Recurring Service & Free Re-Services
Our plans schedule service through the year (4, 6, or 12 visits depending on plan), and if covered pests come back between visits, the re-service is free. That's what the plan pays for — not the visits, but the insurance against the pests you hired us to control.
WHAT WE TREAT
Pests We Handle
NC homes deal with a predictable rotation of pest pressures across the year — plus a few wildlife crossovers most pest companies miss. We handle the full residential and light-commercial spectrum.
Crickets
Camel crickets in the crawlspace usually signal a bigger moisture problem.
Covered on recurring plans
Stinging Insects
Wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets — nests located and removed.
Termites & WDI
Trelona bait + liquid barrier + WDI reports for closings. Not part of recurring pest plans.
Mosquitoes
Seasonal yard control knocks the population down where it breeds — March through October.

RECURRING PLANS
Recurring Pest Control Plans
Three plans — each priced on what it covers, not how often we show up. Free re-services between scheduled visits are included on all three. The plan you choose decides which pests are covered and how aggressive the protection cycle is.
Our entry plan for lower-pressure homes — full exterior coverage on a 4-visit-per-year cycle, with free re-services in between if pests return.
Covered pests: Roaches, spiders, house ants, crickets, millipedes, centipedes, silverfish, earwigs, and more. (No rodent coverage — step up to Standard for rodents.)
Our most popular plan for good reason — everything in Economy Shield plus rodent protection and stinging-insect nest removal, on a 6-visit-per-year cycle. Comprehensive coverage for busy families.
Covered pests: Everything in Economy plus rodents and stinging insects (wasps, hornets, yellow jackets).
Maximum protection for your home and yard — everything in Standard Defense plus seasonal yard services on a 12-visit-per-year cycle. The most complete coverage we offer.
Covered pests: Everything in Standard plus yard pests — mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, moles, voles, and fire ants.

WARNING SIGNS
Signs It's Time to Call a Pro
A few pests are normal in NC. These are the signs the problem is bigger than a can of spray can handle — the things we get the most calls about, across every county we serve.
- Scratching, scurrying, or thumping in walls, ceilings, or the attic — rodents, sometimes squirrels.
- Buzzing inside a wall or near the eaves — yellow jackets or carpenter bees building nests.
- Clicking or tapping at night — sometimes termite swarmers, sometimes wood-boring beetles.
- Cricket “chirping” from inside the crawlspace — usually camel crickets and a sign of moisture.
- Rustling in the attic or soffits at dusk — nocturnal rodents waking up for the night.
- Ant trails on counters, baseboards, or pet food bowls.
- Roaches around appliances, sinks, or behind cabinets — live ones in daylight mean a large population.
- Droppings — small dark pellets in cabinets, drawers, the garage, or attic.
- Spider webs building up around the foundation, porch ceilings, or window frames.
- Wasp or hornet nests under eaves, in shrubs, or in carpenter bee galleries.
- Termite mud tubes on foundation walls, or wood damage that looks like honeycomb.
- Shed insect wings on windowsills — a classic sign of a termite or ant swarm.
- Grease marks or dark rub trails along baseboards — rodents traveling the same path.
- A musty odor in the crawlspace or attic — moisture, mold, or rodent urine.
- A sudden powerful odor in a wall or attic — usually a dead rodent. Call us same-day.
- A sweet, fermented smell near a roach harborage — heavy populations have a distinct scent.
- A sharp ammonia smell in an enclosed space — concentrated rodent urine in a wall void or attic.
- Pet behavior changes — dogs or cats fixating on walls, cabinets, or the fireplace.
- Pet food disappearing or bags chewed open overnight.
- Chewed wires, food packaging, or insulation in the attic or garage — a rodent fire risk.
- Mosquito bites in your own yard — a breeding population is established nearby.
- Bites or welts overnight — possible fleas, or bed bugs near where you sleep.
- Recurring pest issues despite DIY or seasonal cleaning — usually an unreached food source.
Central NC pests run on a schedule — ants and roaches surge in summer heat, rodents push indoors as fall cools off, mosquitoes and stinging insects peak spring through October, and termite swarmers show up on warm spring days. A recurring plan is built around that rotation, so you’re covered before each wave hits instead of scrambling after.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About Pest Control
How much does pest control cost in NC?
It depends on your home’s size, the pests you’re dealing with, and which plan fits. There’s no flat “one price fits all” — that’s why we quote it over the phone. Most plans can be priced and set up in one quick call: (919) 584-8650.
What pests do your plans cover?
Our recurring plans cover the common NC household pests — roaches, spiders, ants, crickets, millipedes, centipedes, silverfish, earwigs, and more. Rodent coverage is included on Standard Defense and Premium Guard. Premium Guard adds yard pests like mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, moles, voles, and fire ants. Termites and other wood-destroying insects are handled through a separate program.
How often will you come out?
It depends on your plan — Economy Shield is 4 scheduled visits a year, Standard Defense is 6, and Premium Guard is 12. If pests show up between scheduled visits, we come back and re-treat at no extra charge. That’s included on every plan.
Are your treatments safe for my kids and pets?
Our products are applied by licensed technicians strictly according to label and NC regulations, using targeted application rather than blanket spraying. We’ll always let you know if there’s anything to keep in mind after a treatment, like staying off a treated area until it dries.
Do I need to be home for service?
Not for exterior service — most of our routine work is done outside, where pests get in. If interior treatment is needed, we’ll schedule a time that works for you.
What makes Freedom different from other pest companies?
We’re veteran-owned and one team handles both the bugs and the animals — so problems get diagnosed like a bug doctor and sealed up like a wildlife job, not just sprayed and forgotten. We’re proud members of the NPMA and NCPMA, and we’re backed by 500+ five-star reviews across central NC.
What's the difference between your three plans?
Economy Shield (4 visits/yr) covers general household pests on the exterior. Standard Defense (6 visits/yr) adds rodent protection and stinging-insect nest removal — it’s our most popular. Premium Guard (12 visits/yr) adds yard services like seasonal mosquito, flea & tick, mole & vole, and annual fire-ant. All three include free re-services between visits.
How soon can you come out?
In most cases we can get you on the schedule quickly — often within a few days, sometimes same-week. For urgent problems like a dead-rodent odor or a stinging-insect nest by a doorway, call us and we’ll prioritize it: (919) 584-8650.
Do you treat businesses, or just homes?
Both. We handle residential and light-commercial pest control across the Triangle — offices, retail, and similar spaces. Call us to talk through what your property needs.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re a licensed, insured, veteran-owned NC pest control company, and proud members of the NPMA and NCPMA. Every technician is trained to apply treatments according to label and state regulations.
Do you offer one-time pest control treatments?
Yes. If you’ve got a specific problem — a roach flare-up, an ant invasion, a wasp nest by the door — we can knock it out with a one-time treatment. Just know it’s a fix, not a shield: most pests come back once conditions are right again. That’s why most homeowners move to a recurring plan after the first visit — it includes free re-services between scheduled visits, so a return problem gets handled on our dime, not yours. We’ll tell you honestly which makes sense for your situation. Call (919) 584-8650.
