Getting rid of pigeons for good is a sequence — assess, exclude, clean, and keep it monitored. Here’s how we run a pigeon job start to finish:
1. Inspection
We find where pigeons are roosting and nesting, identify how they're getting in, and assess the droppings and any damage. You get a clear explanation and a written quote before any work begins.
2. Removal
When a large flock has settled in, we reduce it first. Netting a spot off keeps those birds from returning — but a big displaced flock will circle and hunt for a new roost, dropping across your property the whole time. Reducing the flock first stops that. The exclusion holds regardless of numbers.
3. Exclusion
We install the right barrier for each roost point — netting, spikes, bird wire, or shock track. Done correctly, exclusion keeps pigeons off that spot no matter the bird pressure.
4. Cleanup & Disinfection

When a large flock is present we reduce it first, then we monitor and maintain the work so it stays that way.
Are pigeons protected?
No. Pigeons are non-native and not protected, so they can be removed and excluded — unlike native birds.
Are pigeon droppings dangerous?
They can carry disease, corrode surfaces, and create slip hazards. We clean and disinfect built-up droppings as part of the job.

Will the pigeons come back?
Not to a spot we’ve truly excluded — once an area is netted or the entry is sealed, there’s no way back in. What's the difference between exclusion and deterrents?
Exclusion physically blocks access — netting an area off or sealing the gaps birds enter, so they simply can’t get in. Deterrents (spikes, wire, shock track, optical gel) make a surface uncomfortable to land on but don’t bar access, so they hold well with maintenance but aren’t as absolute as true exclusion. We use the right mix for your structure.
